At The Academy of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (TACP), we understand that the early stages of a counselling career come with both professional and financial uncertainty. New interns may not have a steady client base and earnings, yet still require access to supervision, training, guidance, and resources to grow ethically and confidently.

 

​To support this reality, TACP follows a flexible, intern-first membership model.

 ​

So each membership package provides a unique set of benefits, allowing you to choose the level of support and resources that best matches your needs.  Also, each membership package is priced differently and includes a monthly base fee, which will include FREE access to essential support services (varies based on the chosen model) such as:

• Monthly group supervision

• Monthly group training and learning sessions

• A basic resource pack to support early practice

• Guidance and mentoring sessions with senior professionals in the team

• Client referral

• Website listing

• Well being circle, etc

Beyond these core inclusions, additional services — such as individual supervision, therapy room rentals, workshops, certifications, and specialised training — are offered on a discounted, PAY AS YOU USE BASIS,  based on the model chosen.

• You only pay for services when you actually use them

• Support remains accessible even during periods with fewer or no clients

• Professional development can grow in step with your practice
